Description:
Immediate need for a qualified Senior Civil Engineer with highway design experience. Responsible for the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects.
Applies engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity. Develops conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support the project completion using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, with adherence to the schedule and budget
- Assist with the development of scope of work for projects within the areas of highway design
- Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work
- Guides and mentors’ team to overall project objectives
- Coordinates technical aspects of project with client counterparts and teaming partners
- Works closely with other disciplines
Job Requirements:
- 10 + years of experience highway design
- With 6+ years of relevant project engineering experience (with a BS degree)
- Or 5+ years of relevant project engineering experience (with a Master’s degree)
- Or 4+ years of project engineering experience (with a PhD)
- MUST have some knowledge or experience with InRoads or other Civil 3D software.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering – minimum
Master’s Degree in Civil – Structural Engineering desired
PE License highly desired
